Rule 1 Content of posts
(a) All postings or messages express the views of the author, and not the owners of LCMNUMC FORUM.

(b) This is a Moderated forum. The owners and staff of LCMNUMC FORUM reserve the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread for any reason. Staff includes Administrator and Moderators

Rule 2 Respectful Discourse
(a) Common courtesy and respectful dialogue is expected from all participants.

(b) Judging another's salvation is strickly forbidden.

Rule 3 Unacceptable posts
(a) Members may not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-oriented, hateful, demeaning, threatening, repeated in many posting areas (spam) or otherwise violative civil or criminal laws. Such posts will be deleted and the Member warned or banned.

(b) Members may not post inflammatory remarks simply for the purpose of evoking reaction or starting fights with other Members. Such posts will be deleted and the Member warned or banned.

(c) Any discussions about any individual teacher/preacher/pastor/minister/evangelist/media personality, etc., will be closely monitored. Any claims that a named person teaches or supports false doctrine MUST be well documented. Unsubstantiated claims, rumors or hearsay will not be allowed. Any such posts or threads will be removed and a reminder, warning or ban issued as necessary.

(d) Lengthy and excessive posts are not permitted. This forum is set up for profitable discussions and sharing of ideas. It is not intended for commentary. Multiple posts will be deleted when at the discretion of the moderating team.

Rule 4 False registration
(a) Registration with false information is grounds for immediate and permanent banning.

(b) Posting under multiple names is not allowed without express consent from forum Administrator.
1. Requests to post under more than one alias may be granted under certain but rare conditions and only after permission is granted from forum administrator

Rule 5 Disputing Moderator Decisions
(a) If you believe a Moderator directive is incorrect you should not discuss it in the community. Instead send a private message to the Administrator or the Team.

Rule 6 Personal Details - Postal address or email address
(a) Do not give your personal details such as postal address or email address to anyone except the Administrator.

(b) A Member may not ask other Members for the phone number, address, whether physical, email or instant message. If someone annoys you through email or PM, notify the Moderators or the Administrator immediately and we will notify the respective authorities about this behavior. Do not reply to unknown emails.

Rule 7 Links to other Websites
(a) Our Forum contains links to other Web sites. Please note that when you click on one of these links, you are entering another Website for which LCMNUMC FORUM has no responsibility or liability. We encourage you to read the privacy statements on all such sites as their policies may be different from ours. The Moderators/Administrator at LCMNUMC FORUM cannot possibly monitor all the numerous daily postings of off-site linking. Anyone visiting a site linked at LCMNUMC FORUM by MEMBERS does so at your own risk. Be especially wary of those sites which sell products, services or ask for donations. Again, the Staff at LCMNUMC FORUM takes no responsibility what-so-ever in the claims or statements made in ANY linked sites.

(b) If any member wishes to place a link to any site that requests financial donations they must first obtain permission from our Administrator via PM to the Moderator Staff. This permission will only be granted in exceptional circumstances.

If permission is granted they must also post the following warning notice together with the link:

Rule 8 Copyright Issues
(a) Any time that you "quote" someone else's works, you must be certain that there is a Copyright © Waiver or reposting authorization posted in the original source indicating that you can quote all or part of that original author's work. Text of copyright waivers, author permissions or public domain statements from source pages must accompany any copied materials that members post at LCMNUMC FORUM, at the bottom of the copied post. If you just copy and paste text randomly without regard for the Copyrighting © of that text, you bring liability issues into the equation and we at LCMNUMC FORUM will take appropriate action to keep infringement issues out of this forum.

Rule 9 Obligation to report Inappropriate Posts
Please report postings here at LCMNUMC FORUM which contain objectionable material as well as objectionable material contained in offsite links posted by LCMNUMC FORUM members. Use the "Report Post" button below the poster's name to tell us about your concerns.
